A Letter from Mike & June
Howdy from Texas! We are honored and privileged that you are taking your time to learn more about us. We are an active, fun-loving couple living in the beautiful state of Texas. We are excited to become first-time parents and to share our fun and laughter with your child.
We are looking forward to family camping trips, hiking and outdoor activities. We are open to adopting a baby of any race, birth to age 1 or a sibling group of up to 4 years old.
We are willing and happy to share letters, texts, photos, and visits during and after adoption.
About Us
We met 15 years ago through a blind date. And after a few dates, we knew we were meant to be together. Our marriage has been through several fertility treatments, but no luck. But our desire for a child never wavered. After many years of prayer, we found God’s path for our family, leading us to adoption. We strongly believe that adoption is the way we’re meant to grow our family and are excited to do so!
We both love outdoors camping, hiking and going to lakes/beaches. We also love visiting museums and historical sites where we can learn more about the land and history. We are excited to share our passion for the great outdoors and history with our child and to include them in all of our family adventures!

Our Home in Texas
We live in a single story, ranch-style house with a spacious living room, kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. We have already picked the baby’s room and are excited to set it up and paint it! We have a sizeable backyard where we can enjoy grilling and also play with our two dogs. We have ShihTzu (Missy) and Shiba Inu (Copper) that have been part of our family for the last 14 years. We love to take them for a walk to the creek behind our subdivision. We have a few lakes around town where we enjoy having picnics, going for kayak rides, and fishing.
We have good neighbors who are friendly and enjoy a lot of activities outside with their children, including riding bikes and playing ball. We are also located in a very nice school district and look forward to providing our child with a good education.
Our Family and Traditions
Family is important to us.
We live a few states away from family and travel at least once a year to see them. We also enjoy family calls regularly. We both spent some time overseas learning about other cultures, history, and language. We are excited to raise our child in an already multi-cultural home- Korean and American. June’s mother is excited about spending time with her first grand baby and Mike’s parents are looking forward to having a new grandchild to spoil. Our families are incredibly supportive and beyond excited about our adoption!
